La cave de fromage

The selection of wines, cheeses and desserts is extraordinary and Jean Christophe could not have been more gracious, not to mention knowledgable about his offerings We felt like we were celebrating at the home of a friend. Will definitely be back, maybe for a fondue when it's not 30 degrees! We would not return to Alicante without returning to La Cave a Fromage. I would say that this is really a delicatessen with tables but I like it a lot.

So good we had a second smaller board not really needed as Wine was excellent too. All were fantastic and highly recommend a visit to those who love wine and cheese. Fantastic French cuisine. Of course that doubled the price and it was worth it since we both left full Very small place to try French cheese and wine.

First class products and great service with the corresponding price. An absolutely super selection of top quality, well chosen French cheeses. Owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and prepared us a cheeseboard tailored to our tastes. The owner was so helpful, polite, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. If you like French cheese - that's the place in Alicante.

Initially I bought 4 cheeses Then a Brie made from one of the original recipes from A small taste confirmed the superb taste.

Some wine and Horse Chestnut beer to round it all off. Not many tables so I imagine it gets busy quite easily I usually go early. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and excellent service. Had never had any of the cheese before and came Please visit! And it was brilliant. Great selection of wines with many by the glass and one of my favourite jamons in the area - what's not to like!

Fantastic quality of cheese, some of which I'd never had before. We will be Back. I was leaving on a plane for Ireland So all my purchases were shrink wrapped. We were two and the cheese board had two pieces of each cheese. My wife and I took our daughter to La Cave a Fromage for her 30th birthday and she loved it. Came in to taste some cheese and boy did we taste some cheese.

Popped in for a a light lunch. If you order the 3 cheese board it comes with two types of jam and bread. Serendipitously found. Brought to you with a some and understanding. A must visit if in town. Such a friendly welcome from the owner! So convenient and such a great service.
